Sales Development Rep/SDR, Inside Sales, Appointment Setter/ Scheduler, B2B Sales
Job Description:
We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative to help build our pipeline and generate qualified conversations as we prepare for public launch.
Summary- Flexible
Title:
Can tailor to reflect your skills & experience. - Flexible Time: Can do full-time, part-time, side-gig (off-hours), or fractional (contract).
- Flexible Commitment: Can do short-term, long-term, or intermittent.
Why so flexible? We’re a FUNDED startup racing toward launch. Feel free to jump in, help us ship, then bounce >> or stick around. A successful launch translates into lots of permanent jobs for those that want them. We’re also interested in long‑term "side gig" relationships, if that’s what you’re into—in our experience, a few expert hours often beat full‑time learning‑curve hours.
AboutUs
We’re a credible, funded, remote‑first startup backed by a growing team. We’re pre‑launch and moving fast.
AboutThe Role
We need someone who isn’t afraid to reach out to strangers and start a conversation. Your job is outbound prospecting — finding the right people, reaching out through email, phone, and social, and booking qualified meetings for the team. You’re not closing deals; you’re opening doors.
This is a great fit for someone early in their sales career who wants real startup experience, or someone already in sales who wants a flexible side opportunity with equity upside. We’ll give you the tools, the messaging, and the target list — you bring the hustle and the follow‑through.
CompensationUp to $65,000 base + commission, max total annual compensation in Tier 1 cities; cash and equity components to be negotiated. Given the flexible commitment model, comp will be structured accordingly — fractional or hourly arrangements welcome.
What You’ll Do in Your First 7 Days- You’ve reviewed our target audience and understand who we’re trying to reach
- You’ve gotten access to outreach tools and started familiarizing yourself with the sequences
You’ve sent your first batch of outreach messages - You’ve attended your first team meeting and understand how the pipeline is tracked
- The team knows who you are, why you’re here, and how you’ll work together
- Prospect and research — identify and qualify potential leads that match our target audience
- Outbound outreach — reach out via email, phone, Linked In, and other channels to start conversations
- Book qualified meetings — your goal is to generate conversations for the sales team, not to close
- Follow up relentlessly — most deals come from the 3rd, 4th, 5th touchpoint; persistence is the job
- Track everything — log all activity and conversations in the CRM so nothing gets lost
Must‑haves:
- Comfortable reaching out to people you don’t know — cold outreach doesn’t scare you
- Can handle rejection and keep going — you understand that “no” is part of the process
- Strong written communication — your emails and messages are clear, concise, and human
- Organized — you can manage a pipeline of dozens of conversations without dropping any
- Coachable — you take feedback, adjust your approach, and get better fast
Nice‑to‑have:
- Previous SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience
- Familiarity with outreach tools (Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar)
- Experience with CRM tools (Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Comfortable in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments
- Not a closer — you’re opening doors, not negotiating contracts
- Not a marketing role — you’re doing 1-to-1 outreach, not campaigns
- Not expected to have all the answers — we’ll arm you with messaging and playbooks; you execute
