Remote Opportunity - Base Salary $90,000-$120,000
Manpower Direct Hire is seeking a Sales Engineer in the Houston area to help grow an industrial business serving the energy, petrochemical, renewable energy, and rotating equipment markets. This role is perfect for someone with a  fire in the belly  who enjoys creating opportunities, building OEM and distributor relationships, and providing customized engineering solutions rather than selling off-the-shelf products.
Approx. $115K base + bonus potential
Houston/Gulf Coast focus
Moderate travel
Mechanical or Chemical Engineering background preferred
Opportunity to shape territory growth and customer strategy

• Develop new business opportunities with OEMs, distributors, engineering firms, repair facilities, and end users.
• Build strong relationships with engineering, maintenance, operations, and purchasing teams.
• Evaluate customer applications and recommend customized sealing solutions for rotating equipment.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, application reviews, and troubleshooting support.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Communicate customer requirements to engineering to support custom product development.
• Manage a sales pipeline and execute growth strategies within key accounts and target markets.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging customer needs.
• Represent the company at trade shows, technical conferences, and customer events.
