Account Executive

Summary

The Account Executive will support and develop multi-brand retail sales for CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty within the Houston territory. The role focuses on executing business objectives and promotional programming, upholding brand image, and developing counter talent through coaching and recruitment. This field position requires frequent in-store presence, significant travel, and collaboration with corporate partners.

• Execute business strategies and promotional programs to meet territory sales objectives.
• Monitor retail sales performance and hold Counter teams accountable to targets.
• Maintain regular in-store cadence with Counter teams and Store leadership to align on launches, events, and sales plans.
• Partner with Counter Managers to develop client acquisition and retention strategies.
• Plan, communicate, and execute in-store events in coordination with Market Director and Education teams.
• Manage territory budget and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure merchandising and visual standards are executed and brand image is upheld across points of sale.

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within multi-brand retail or beauty/ fragrance environments.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, and develop counter teams with a focus on succession planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Home office setup with ability to travel approximately 50%–75% and visit corporate offices or points of sale.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
