Residential Sales​/Estimator

Our company is growing and we are looking to hire a Residential Sales Associate to join our successful sales team. Certa Pro Painters is a national leader in home improvement industry, providing a success-oriented environment, training and ongoing coaching to help you reach and exceed your goals. Sales Territory is primarily NW Orange County & Long Beach areas, CA.

This person will have a strong desire to succeed, the ability to develop lasting relationships, and the skills to close in-home contracts through a consultative sales approach.

Role Description The Residential Sales/Estimator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Orange, CA. This position is responsible for meeting with residential customers, assessing their painting needs, and preparing thorough, accurate project estimates. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-home consultations, measuring and evaluating project scope, explaining services and pricing, and following up on leads to secure new business. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating with the production team to ensure projects are set up correctly, and documenting all sales activities in company systems.

The Residential Sales/Estimator supports overall business growth by identifying opportunities for additional services and representing Certa Pro Painters in a professional, trustworthy manner.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive client relationships.
• Proven sales and business development skills, including lead follow-up and closing residential projects.
• Effective communication skills for presenting estimates, explaining scope of work, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Experience with project estimation, including measuring spaces, understanding materials, and preparing detailed proposals.
• Basic knowledge of residential painting processes or construction trades is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site, travel locally to Orange County and Long Beach for estimates
• Comfort with using technology for CRM systems, scheduling, and documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, sales, or construction management is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
