Business Development Representative Sales Remote

Vigy AI is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive our outbound and inbound pipeline. You'll be one of the first sales hires at Vigy, working directly with the founders to turn interest in AI employees into booked demos and qualified opportunities. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to help define how a category-defining AI company sells.

• – Prospect and qualify inbound leads from the website, demo requests, and marketing campaigns
• – Run outbound sequences (email, Linked In, cold call) to build a pipeline of SMB decision-makers
• – Own discovery calls that uncover a prospect's workflows and match them to the right Vigy AI employee
• – Book qualified demos and hand off warm opportunities to the founders/closing team
• – Keep CRM data clean and accurate — every touchpoint logged, every deal staged correctly
• – Partner with marketing on messaging that resonates with non-technical business owners
• – Report weekly on pipeline health, conversion rates, and what prospects are actually saying

• – 1-3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound sales role, ideally at a SaaS or AI startup
• – Comfortable making cold calls and sending cold emails — persistence without being pushy
• – Strong written and verbal communication; you can explain AI employees to a non-technical business owner
• – Organized and self-directed — you don't need someone checking in on you to hit activity goals
• – Curious about AI and genuinely excited to sell a product that changes how small businesses work
• – Experience with a CRM (Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar) and outbound tooling
