Compensation: $55–$90/hour

• Contribute advanced subject matter expertise to state-of-the-art large language model development for a premier AI lab.
• Create difficult and domain-specific problems designed to evaluate and improve language model reasoning and performance.
• Collaborate directly with prominent AI researchers via private Slack channels and asynchronous workflows.
• Review and refine problem sets, data, and AI-generated outputs for rigor, quality, and scientific accuracy.
• Provide structured, constructive feedback to help AI engineers optimize workflows and problem quality.
• Engage in ongoing, flexible project work, with open applications and the opportunity for extended involvement.

• STEM PhD such as Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical), Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously within a remote, global team.
• Willingness to participate in a short, paid onboarding process.
