Research Assistant/Associate, Clinical Research
We are performing updates and maintenance to our applicant experience. As a result, the site will be unavailable Saturday, February 7th at 8am EST through Sunday, February 8th at 7:30am EST. During this outage period, applications for job postings can not be submitted.
We are seeking a motivated temporary Research Assistant to join our team. The work involves construction of biospecimen collection kits that will be shipped to research participants. Constructing the kits involves carefully adding labels to component parts and research documents. Then the kit contents will be compiled into shipment boxes with the correct shipping labels. Batches of completed collection kits will be carted to the mailroom throughout the month.
Responsibilities*Perform routne research tasks, including but not limited to:
- Construction of biospecimen collection kits
- Protocol creation
- Quality checking
- Works well in a team environment
- Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel)
- High level of attention to detail
- Good dexterity for accurately assembling components and documents
- Ability to lift 30 pounds collection kit shipment boxes
- Quality checking experience
Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with potential options for alternate hours. Work is performed on campus.
