Responsibilities
  • Provide expert feedback and guidance to improve AI models related to soil and plant science domains.
  • Review, annotate, and validate data sets, ensuring scientific accuracy and relevance.
  • Translate complex research concepts in plant physiology, breeding, and soil science into actionable insights for AI development.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers and researchers to fine-tune model algorithms using your domain expertise.
  • Develop scenarios and use-cases based on crop yield, soil management, and pest control for AI training purposes.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in AI outputs and recommend improvements based on current best practices in agronomy and soil science.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in soil and plant sciences and their applications in AI technology.

    Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Soil Science, Plant Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in crop breeding, physiology, soil composition analysis, or plant management research.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex scientific concepts both in writing and verbally.
  • Demonstrated expertise in classifying and mapping soils, studying growth conditions, and evaluating the impact of agricultural practices.
  • Familiarity with integrated pest management and crop productivity studies.
  • Keen attention to detail and a rigorous approach to data validation and review.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary projects or with data science/AI teams.
  • Previous work as an Agronomist, Plant Physiologist, Research Soil Scientist, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of emerging AI technologies in agricultural science.
