Senior Ecologist

Location: Manchester

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000

The role involves working closely with the ecology team, assisting with protected species surveys, building tenders, and producing technical reports.

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Helping to build tenders and create quotations
• Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
• Managing small to medium‑sized projects and some large projects with assistance when needed

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
• 1 protected species license
• Full UK driving licence
• Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the ability to apply them correctly
• Membership or association with the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management
