Join Canadian Blood Services as a Development Scientist II or III based in Vancouver with a hybrid work model. Utilize your expertise on blood products and analytical techniques to drive innovation and quality.
In this full time role within the Network Centre for Applied Development, youll contribute to significant development projects. Key responsibilities include providing scientific expertise on blood products and leading complex studies. Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful development and validation of blood products.
Key Responsibilities
Provide scientific expertise on blood product manufacturing processes
Lead the design of complex development studies
Conduct literature reviews and synthesize evidence
Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to ensure compliance
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in accessible language
Requirements
PhD with 3 years or Master’s with 6 years of relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of blood product manufacturing processes
Strong understanding of analytical techniques and assay design
Excellent communication skills in both technical and plain language
Ability to analyze complex data sets
