  • Publish original research results in leading scientific journals and present at seminar talks and international scientific conferences.
  • Assist in teaching duties at the Institute for Geophysics.
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree (German Diplom or Master’s) in Physics, Geophysics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Solid knowledge in fluid dynamics and numerical modelling, with a clear interest in geophysical problems.
  • Teamwork, communication, organisational skills, and an independent working style.

  • Support from the Family Service Office to balance private and professional responsibilities.
  • Public‑service benefits: pension scheme (VBL), annual year‑end bonus, and job security.
