This role also offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with remote working possible for 1 day per week.

About the Role

The post is funded for 12 months, with possibility of an extension, and is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital. It is full time; part‑time (minimum 60% FTE) will be considered.

Reporting to Professor Andrea Cipriani, Director of GALENOS, you will be responsible for the setup and management of a specialist Crowd of Researchers, who will undertake evidence synthesis tasks. You will play a central role in delivering high‑quality evidence synthesis within GALENOS, ensuring this is followed by Crowd members throughout reference/paper selection, data extraction, and critical appraisal.

About You

You will hold a first degree in a relevant subject (e.g., biomedical science, psychology), along with relevant experience. Demonstrable experience in conducting systematic reviews or evidence synthesis projects (including hands‑on experience with reference screening and data extraction) is essential. You will also possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes and have experience in critically appraising studies and evidence synthesis.

Experience of leading evidence synthesis projects to publications and of contributing ideas for new research projects would be desirable.
