Purpose:
This position supports the development and implementation of the OnRamps Biology 311C and 106M courses. Graders work in close collaboration with Course Staff to grade college-level assessments. The Course Grader also provides just-in-time assistance with seasonal and urgent projects.
Responsibilities:
- Grades course assignments and assessments in Canvas Learning Management System with accuracy and consistency.
- Attends calibration meetings and participate in training to align feedback and deepen transferrable skills.
- Assists with seasonal and urgent projects that align to the OnRamps mission.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of UT BIO
311C (or equivalent) with at least an A- - Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the biological sciences.
- Experience as an undergraduate or graduate teaching assistant.
Salary: $12.00 - $14.50 hourly
Working Conditions:
- May work around standard office conditions.
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
- Remote work environment
- Use of manual dexterity
