In the Technology & Research department, we drive the technological advancement of Rosenxt through solid research and experimental validation. Our interdisciplinary team combines scientific depth with a focus on technological relevance to create applicable solutions from new insights.

As a Scientist, you will take central steps in the early phase of technological developments at Rosenxt:
You will analyze new technological approaches, gain a thorough understanding of their functioning, and validate their potential experimentally in the lab under realistic conditions. Additionally, you will like to look beyond your own field and actively follow current developments through exchange at scientific conferences, and bring your ideas to the development of new technologies.

Your work aims to make reliable statements about the performance and applicability of new technologies. You are an expert in the physical foundations of modern sensor technologies and, together with the team, unlock their full potential for applications at Rosenxt to make them usable for existing and future business fields.

• Planning, setting up, and conducting experiments to investigate new technologies and physical relationships – from precise measurement methodology to exploratory test series
• Collaborating in an interdisciplinary team to holistically analyze complex issues and create tangible project results such as demonstration samples
• Proactively working with cross-functional teams to transfer our project and research results into product development projects
• Knowledge collection, preservation, and building, and internal support within and outside our department with your expertise
• Building and maintaining collaborations with universities, research institutes, and technology partners
• Actively engaging with the professional community outside of Rosenxt through scientific conferences and specialist meetings
• Professional supervision of students and accompanying final theses in the context of current research questions
