JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Children’s Eating Behavior Laboratory under the direction of Kathleen Keller is seeking a motivated, people‑oriented individual for a wage payroll position focused on the measurement of eating behavior and neurocognitive function in children. This role provides hands‑on experience developing test‑meals, assessing body composition, measuring neurocognitive functioning, and data processing.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct behavioral coding from video recordings of children eating in the laboratory
- Assist with the preparation and measurement of experimental test‑meals
- Work with parents and children to collect information on the home eating environment
- Process, organize, and enter data related to childhood eating behaviors
- Undergraduate or graduate‑level coursework in nutritional sciences, chemistry, biology, or a related STEM field preferred
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team preferred
The starting rate for this job is $12.
BACKGROUND CHECKS / CLEARANCESThis position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
