Position Overview

Part‑time Faculty, Environmental Studies – Physics, Astronomy, Geology & Environmental Sciences. Position primarily in person with occasional remote work.

Responsible for instructing undergraduate courses, delivering lectures, conducting labs/fieldwork, grading, and holding office hours. The role promotes an engaging learning environment and supports student success.

Typically Monday through Friday at YSU Campus, Youngstown, Ohio.

Minimum Qualifications
:
At least a master’s degree in environmental science, or a master’s degree in another field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in environmental science. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Preferred Qualifications
:
An advanced degree in environmental science. Academic background featuring multiple physical‑science laboratory courses and a minimum of two semesters of introductory environmental science courses and labs.

:
None.

:
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Work is sedentary: involuntary repetitive tasks such as exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally or a negligible amount frequently. May involve walking or standing for brief periods.
