Environmental Scientist

Position: Environmental Scientist - Hybrid Role
Join AtkinsRéalis as an Environmental Scientist in Toronto, focusing on environmental site assessments and tailored remediation plans. This hybrid position involves two days in-office and impactful projects across Ontario.

As part of the SAR team, you will conduct essential environmental investigations and risk assessments. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in environmental consulting, particularly in contaminated site assessment and remediation. Your expertise will contribute to vital projects while benefiting from exceptional training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop environmental sampling protocols and action plans

• Conduct site assessments and prepare comprehensive reports

• Communicate results effectively to stakeholders

• Determine appropriate sampling locations and techniques

• Maintain compliance with Ontario regulations

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant consulting experience

• Eligibility for P.Eng or P.Geo is an asset

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04 required
