Job Summary
Senior Associate Environmental Professional within the Chemistry and Data Quality Solutions practice, working in Valley Forge, PA;
Knoxville, TN; or fully remote. This position supports business development and technical consulting for environmental investigations.
$120,000 – $150,000, commensurate with accomplishments, performance, credentials, and geography.
Responsibilities- Business Development and Client Engagement:
Provide technical and marketing input to grow the practice; identify qualified leads; develop proposals; attend client meetings and conferences; maintain billability goals. - Consulting and Project Contributions:
Prepare technical memoranda, expert report sections, and presentation materials; participate in client discussions; support quality reviews of laboratory data and QA documentation; prepare project scopes, proposals, cost estimates; review environmental sampling plans and quality assurance project plans. - Professional
Skills:
Stay current with industry trends; strong scientific writing and communication; collaborate remotely; high attention to detail; practice safe work and OSHA compliance; participate in continuous improvement. - Travel:
May require travel and occasional overnight stays to offices, project sites, and meetings. - Other:
Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a closely related field; advanced degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 10 years of environmental consulting experience, including project management and proven client development. - Skills:
Expertise in environmental investigation or remediation project management, analytical chemistry principles applied to environmental data, EPA data validation guidelines, wastewater or solid waste regulatory requirements, sampling analysis plan creation, QA project plan development, and consulting sales acumen. - Additional:
Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans; strong written and verbal communication; ability to deliver presentations at industry conferences; proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Acrobat. - Desired:
Strong understanding of environmental project management and expert witness or litigation support.
