Research Scientist
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and analyze strategic content collateral, including press releases, scientific papers, clinical trial results, and technical lectures.
- Conduct interviews with clinicians, investigators, and cancer care professionals to gather new perspectives, scientific context, accomplishments, and quotes; capture and update internal tracking systems.
- Plan and write compelling long‑form reports that convey the impact of philanthropic giving; coordinate with philanthropy colleagues on tone, content, and donor approach.
- Review and edit reports for scientific accuracy; assist other writers in formulating detailed concepts and interpreting data for a lay readership.
- Participate in the writing team, share knowledge on research findings and scientific writing trends; collaborate with senior leaders and cross‑disciplinary teams to meet key performance indicators.

Bachelor's Degree; 5 years of professional experience.

Special Working ConditionsThis remote position requires 0‑1 days onsite at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA each week. Work may extend into evenings or weekends to meet deadlines.
