The Chair in Nonlinear Dynamics at ETH Zürich invites applications for a 100% PhD position focused on developing and applying nonlinear dynamical systems methods to complex physical problems. The goal is to provide efficient, interpretable alternatives to neural networks through nonlinear modelling and model reduction.
The candidate will advance SSM methods, investigate fluid-structure interactions and other relevant areas, with a starting date flexible but preferred early.
