Kickstart your geology career with SSR Mining as an Entry-Level Mine Geologist at the Seabee Gold Operation. This role is focused on geological oversight and resource management in a remote work setting.
As you work under the Supervisor of Resource Development, you will play a crucial role in ensuring geological integrity during mining operations. Your key responsibilities will include mapping, sampling, and problem-solving in alignment with mining activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide geological input for varying operational needs
• Map mineralization and analyze geotechnical data
• Collaborate with mining teams for effective resource management
• Log and validate geological data efficiently
• Assist in drillhole planning and daily reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field
• At least one year of mining experience
• Experience with software like Imago is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexibility to work in a remote location
