The position emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, sound scientific practices, and effective coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Provide field and office support for environmental site assessment and remediation projects.

  • Conduct soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling in a variety of environmental and site conditions.
  • Coordinate field activities with project managers, laboratories, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation and support the preparation of technical figures, tables, and project deliverables.
Minimum Requirements

  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • The successful candidate must pass a background check, a client‑administered drug screening, and a medical surveillance program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to travel regionally for day trips as project needs require.
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in sometimes challenging conditions. Ability to perform fieldwork in varying weather and terrain, lift/carry field equipment, and travel as project needs dictate.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and at varying project locations, including frequent travel within a 1–3‑hour drive of the home office and occasional travel beyond that range.
  • Strong field documentation, data analysis, and technical writing skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and rapidly master new tasks.
  • Strong quality and time management.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Solid attention to detail and thorough approach to work.
  • 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
  • Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS applications.
  • OSHA 30‑hour Construction (current) and other relevant safety certifications.
