PositionSummary
The Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the training, competency assessment, and continuing education programs for testing, non‑testing, and/or non‑clinical personnel at Guardant Health. The role requires leadership skills including good judgment, sound analysis, decision making, professionalism under pressure, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate across all levels of the laboratory and across departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform timely completion of daily priority workflows, including training assignment creation, documentation organization, review and routing, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and troubleshoot initial training or competency documentation inquiries or content issues.
- Monitor upcoming training or competency assessment due dates by representative departments and send notifications as needed.
- Understand training programs by team or department and required training documentation for each competency evaluation component.
- Set up training plan coordination by preparing competency assessment form templates, monitoring competency documentation completion, and following up with operators regarding training timelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least one year of Guardant Health clinical laboratory experience or equivalent high‑complexity, high‑volume laboratory experience.
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Clinical Science, Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheets, and/or Salesforce for business use.
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laboratory regulations (preferred).
- Ability to integrate and apply feedback professionally.
- Teamwork and proactive, clear, consistent, honest communication skills.
Hours and days may vary depending on operational needs. Standing or sitting for long periods may be necessary. Employees may be exposed to hazardous materials, blood specimens and instruments with moving parts, heating or freezing elements, and high‑speed centrifugation. Manual and repetitive pipetting may be required, and some lifting (up to 25 pounds) may be necessary.

Hybrid Work ModelOnsite employees eligible for hybrid work are required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Employees living within 50 miles of a Guardant facility must work onsite on these days; all other days are flexible for remote work.
SalaryPrimary location (Redwood City,CA): $67,300–$92,550. Other U.S. locations: $57,205–$78,668. Colorado: $60,570–$83,295. Base pay ranges do not include benefits or bonuses.
