Project Manager for Environmental Initiatives

As an Environmental Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing compliance-related environmental projects, including assessments, permitting, and field inspections. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in biology, ecology, or environmental science, complemented by at least five years of hands-on experience in consulting.
Your role consists of liaising with various agencies to ensure project compliance with environmental policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct timber, vegetation, and soil assessments in the field
• Manage environmental permitting and baseline assessments
• Perform site inspections and watercourse assessments
• Liaise with agencies such as the Alberta Energy Regulator
• Execute monitoring and inspection for compliance
Requirements:
• Degree in ecology, biology, or environmental science
• P.Biol. designation with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists
• At least five years of experience in environmental consulting
• Deep understanding of environmental and planning regulations
• Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills
