Become an Intermediate Spatial Ecologist at WSP, combining your geospatial expertise and analytical skills in a hybrid role. Tackle environmental challenges using advanced technologies like AI and remote sensing.

In this pivotal role, you will support WSP's Ecology team in ecological assessments and environmental planning. Utilize your proficiency in GIS, Python, and machine learning to contribute to high-impact projects while collaborating with diverse teams across Canada and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret ecological datasets and support multiple project sectors

• Manage Python and GIS workflows for effective analysis

• Integrate AI tools in biodiversity and habitat assessments

• Prepare technical reports documenting analytical outcomes

• Collaborate on project execution and coordination

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Environmental Science or similar

• 5–10 years of relevant ecological experience

• Strong GIS capabilities in ArcGIS or QGIS

• Proficient programming skills in Python

• Ability to communicate results effectively to varied audiences
