JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for one part-time teaching assistant to start in fall 2026. The successful candidate will assist Dr. Chuck Nicholson for 10 hours per week during the academic semester.

Job Duties:

• Holding office hours
• Grading assignments
• Assisting students and monitoring during in-class simulation exercises
• Keeping records in CANVAS
• Assisting with laboratory & recitation sessions
• Searching the business press for relevant materials

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of SCM 405 at Penn State or a similar course at a comparable institution

Compensation:

Starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
