Position: MISSCARE RESEARCH ASST (TEMP) - Fall 2026 - School of Nursing (Hybrid)

A COSMIN-informed Systematic Review Of The International Translations, Cultural Adaptation, Psychometric Properties And Cross-Cultural Use Of The Revised Misscare Survey

This position will assist the manager of this project by preparing and organizing the following project: A COSMIN-informed systematic review of the international translations, cultural adaptation, psychometric properties and cross-cultural use of the revised MISSCARE Survey.

This position will end on 12/31/2026

Responsibilities*
  • Organize permission and translation correspondence for the revised MISSCARE survey;
  • Create a master inventory of international MISSCARE/revised MISSCARE survey;
  • Assist in preparing the systematic review infrastructure:
  • Assist with searching, screening, and data extraction once the review begins.
Required Qualifications *
  • Strong organizational skills;
    The RA will need to manage many files, citations, emails, PDFs, spreadsheets, and article versions without losing track
  • Graduate Student
  • Literature search experience
    - Ideally, they should have basic familiarity with at least:
    Pub Med, CINAHL and Google Scholar
  • Reference management skills
    - They should know or be willing to learn Zotero
  • Spreadsheet competence
    - They should be comfortable with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Basic understanding of research methods
  • Ability to read and comprehend nursing/health sciences literature.
Modes Of Work

Hybrid:
The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes here.

Background Screening
