About the Role
Our client, a prominent international organization focused on advancing sustainable agricultural practices, is seeking a dynamic Remote Sustainable Agriculture Consultant . This role involves providing expert advice and developing strategies for implementing eco-friendly farming methods globally. As a fully remote professional, you will engage with diverse stakeholders, including farmers, NGOs, and governmental bodies, to promote practices that enhance soil health, biodiversity, and resource efficiency while improving livelihoods.

- Develop and implement sustainable agricultural strategies and action plans for various regions and farming systems.
- Advise clients on best practices for soil conservation, water management, biodiversity enhancement, and organic farming.
- Conduct assessments of current farming practices and identify areas for improvement towards sustainability goals.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions, both online and potentially in-person, for farmers and agricultural professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented sustainable agriculture projects.
- Stay abreast of global trends, research, and policy developments in sustainable agriculture.
- Master's degree or PhD in Sustainable Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sustainable agriculture consulting or program management.
- In-depth knowledge of ecological farming principles, regenerative agriculture, and climate-smart agriculture.
- Proven experience in project design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups remotely.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
