Our client is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Remote Sustainable Agriculture Specialist to champion environmentally conscious farming practices across their diverse operations, potentially supporting areas near East London . This fully remote role involves researching, developing, and promoting sustainable agricultural techniques that enhance ecological balance, conserve resources, and ensure long-term viability. You will work with farm managers and stakeholders to implement practices such as organic farming, water conservation, soil health improvement, and biodiversity enhancement.
The ideal candidate is dedicated to ecological principles and possesses the expertise to guide agricultural enterprises towards a more sustainable future, all while working remotely.
- Research and evaluate innovative sustainable agriculture practices and technologies.
- Develop guidelines and training materials for implementing sustainable farming methods.
- Advise farm operations on strategies for soil health management, water conservation, and waste reduction.
- Monitor environmental impact and sustainability metrics across agricultural sites.

- Master's degree or higher in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related field.

- Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and programs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting and manage projects independently.
