Holistic Success in Dual-Career Transition Job Summary

Are you a senior student athlete passionate about peer leadership, mental performance, and research? Help bridge the hap between academic success and athletic performance at UM-Dearborn.

Data & Analytics:
Lead frontline data collection and psychometric entry for baseline and postintervention assessments (LSSS and SESW scales). Tool Validation:
Track longitudinal data to assist in validating the new Student-Athlete Self-Efficacy Scale (SASES). Peer Mentorship:
Serve as a peer mentor and cofacilitate wellness workshops for freshman student athletes. National Presentation:
Co-present findings alongside Dr. Veronica Son at the national COSMA conference (travel funded).

Direct Impact:
Build the framework for a permanent 1-credit "Student-Athlete Excellence" course targeting freshman GPA stabilization. Flexible Scheduling:
Work directly with UMDearborn Athletics to seamlessly integrate research duties with your team schedule. Professional Growth:
Gain hands-on experience in IRB compliance, study design, data analysis, and national academic dissemination.

Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027
