Our ecology team truly strives to make a positive difference to the natural environment, by working closely with other disciplines across our business to engage in projects from the outset, ensuring ecology is considered at the earliest possible stage. This collaborative working helps to drive forward nature positive schemes that we are proud of.
Our award‑winning team of over 160 ecologists (including the President of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and three CIEEM Fellows) work across a range of exciting habitat creation, research, development and major infrastructure projects; we foster innovation and help inform policy.

• Preparing document templates to a professional standard.
• Tracking project costs and producing finance reports.
• Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing is carried out.
• Maintaining databases and spreadsheets as directed by your Project or Contract Manager, for the purposes of project control.
• Results orientated, inspiring, hard-working, and flexible, who works well as part of any team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels.
• A flexible individual available to manage and deliver to time schedules driven by submission deadlines and client demands.
• Ability to maximise the use of tools such as Office
  365.

• Interest in Ecology and the environment and an understanding of how we can use ecology to engineer a better future through timely surveys and innovative mitigation and reporting, which this role will support the delivery.
• Understanding of the importance of timely reporting and the energy to deliver to deadlines. The ability to build strong relationships and support colleagues, displaying enthusiasm and a drive to grow, learn and develop within our organisation.

Essential requirements

• Ability to work independently and to prioritise tasks.
• Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to show initiative to research information and data and to look for solutions to problems.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to converse with a wide range of clients and colleagues across a number of disciplines.
• A willingness to occasionally work flexibly from other office locations as required.
