The Industrial Hygienist is a full-time, hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a mix of on-site field work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting industrial hygiene assessments, evaluating indoor air quality, and performing environmental and occupational health surveys at client sites. The role involves sampling and monitoring for potential hazards, interpreting data, and preparing clear, detailed reports and recommendations for clients.

The Industrial Hygienist will collaborate with project managers and inspectors to develop mitigation strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate findings in a professional and accessible manner. This position also includes client communication, documentation, and contribution to internal knowledge-sharing on complex or high-risk projects.

• Candidates should possess skills in Indoor Air Quality and Air Quality assessment, including sampling, monitoring, and data interpretation.
• Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with experience applying regulations and best practices to field investigations.
• Candidates should possess skills in Occupational Health, including recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace hazards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, or a related scientific field; advanced certifications (e.g., CIH, CSP) are a plus.
• Experience conducting field inspections, writing technical reports, and communicating findings to clients and project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations; familiarity with San Francisco Bay Area regulatory requirements is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to work safely and independently in varied field environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites within the Bay Area; willingness to use appropriate personal protective equipment.
