About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Remote Exploration Geoscientist to join their growing team. You will be responsible for analyzing geological and geophysical data to identify and evaluate new hydrocarbon prospects. Utilizing advanced software and methodologies, you will play a key part in discovering and delineating potential resources, supporting the company's strategic growth objectives.

• Integrate and interpret various geological and geophysical datasets, including seismic, well logs, and gravity/magnetic data.
• Develop and refine geological models of subsurface structures and sedimentary basins.
• Identify and assess potential hydrocarbon plays and exploration targets with associated risks and uncertainties.
• Utilize state-of-the-art geoscience software for data visualization, interpretation, and prospect mapping.
• Collaborate effectively with other geoscientists, engineers, and management teams in a virtual setting.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations for exploration strategies.

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in oil and gas exploration.
• Proven expertise in seismic interpretation and basin analysis.
• Proficiency with industry-standard interpretation and modeling software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom Suite).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual team collaboration.
