About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Remote Exploration Geochemist to join their globally distributed exploration team, supporting operations near George . This role is pivotal in identifying and evaluating new mineral targets through advanced geochemical analysis and interpretation. You will work independently, leveraging cutting-edge techniques and data from various field operations to guide exploration strategies. The position demands a rigorous scientific approach, excellent data management skills, and the ability to contribute effectively to a remote, collaborative environment, ensuring our exploration efforts remain at the forefront of the industry.

• Design and execute geochemical sampling programs, including soil, stream sediment, and rock chip analysis.
• Interpret complex geochemical datasets to identify prospective areas for mineral exploration.
• Utilize statistical and multivariate analysis techniques to model geochemical signatures.
• Collaborate remotely with geological and geophysical teams to integrate geochemical data into exploration models.
• Maintain and manage geochemical databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on geochemical findings for exploration strategy meetings.

• PhD or Master's degree in Geochemistry, Geology, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in geochemical exploration for base metals or precious metals.
• Proficiency in geochemical data processing and visualization software (e.g., ioGAS, GCDKit, Python libraries).
• Strong understanding of analytical chemistry techniques and quality control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote work setting.
