Remote Senior Geoscientist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Senior Geoscientist to join their globally distributed exploration team. This position offers the flexibility of working from anywhere, focusing on the geological and geophysical analysis required for identifying and evaluating potential oil and gas prospects. • Interpret and integrate seismic, well log, and other geophysical data to delineate hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Develop and maintain 3D geological models of subsurface structures and stratigraphy.
• Conduct prospectivity assessments and contribute to exploration portfolio management.
• Collaborate effectively with geologists, petroleum engineers, and management in a remote setting .
• Utilize advanced geoscience software and workflows for data analysis and visualization.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in geophysics and geological modeling.

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geophysics, Geology, or a related geoscience discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in oil and gas exploration, with a proven track record in seismic interpretation and geological modeling.
• Expertise in relevant software packages such as Petrel, Kingdom Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of structural geology, sedimentology, and basin analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote collaboration .
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
