As a Video Annotation Editor, you will watch video clips closely and create structured labels that help train AI systems. You will use written guidelines to identify what happens, when it happens, and how the tone of each section changes.
You will apply consistent judgments across clips, re-check your work, correct event boundaries, and flag unclear cases instead of forcing an unsupported label.
- Mark the precise start and end of actions, events, scene changes, and cuts.
- Identify shifts in pacing and intensity.
- Label the tone or mood of each section and mark where it changes.
- Review annotations for consistency and correct boundaries that are slightly misaligned.
- Flag unclear cases and suggest improvements when guidelines have gaps or cause repeated confusion.
- Complete the assigned annotation volume at the required quality level.
This is a part-time contractor role for an entry-level contributor. Previous AI training experience is not required, and prior video annotation or data-labeling experience is helpful but not essential.
- Pay: $50-$90 per hour.

- Helpful background: post-production, music editing, video editing, sound editing, or related editorial work.
