Remote Intermediate Biologist at Cornice

Join Cornice Environmental Consulting as an Intermediate Biologist, contributing remotely and in the field. Engage in habitat assessments and construction monitoring across Western Canada.

This full-time position is ideal for candidates with a degree in biology or environmental science and at least five years of relevant experience. You'll be involved in diverse projects, from environmental monitoring to regulatory compliance, supporting various teams while maintaining sound technical judgment and ownership of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead terrestrial and aquatic habitat assessments

• Conduct fisheries and wildlife field programs

• Provide construction environmental monitoring guidance

• Prepare clear technical documentation from field data

• Manage project scopes, budgets, and deliverables

Requirements:

• Degree in biology, environmental science, or related

• Minimum five years of consulting experience in BC/AB

• R.P.Bio or P.Biol designation, or eligibility

• Strong field capability and technical writing skills

• Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel
