- Conduct remote environmental baseline studies and impact assessments for new mining projects.
- Analyze environmental data, including air and water quality, biodiversity, and soil conditions.
- Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and monitoring programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and project teams regarding environmental matters.
- Prepare comprehensive environmental reports and permit applications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or management, preferably within the mining sector .
- Proven ability to conduct environmental impact assessments and develop management plans.
- Strong understanding of environmental legislation and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling software and GIS applications is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment .
