Remote Senior Geoscientist - Seismic Interpretation Specialist

• Perform advanced seismic data interpretation for exploration and appraisal projects globally.
• Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geological information to build robust subsurface models.
• Identify and delineate drilling prospects and evaluate their geological risk.
• Utilize cutting-edge seismic interpretation software and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with reservoir engineers, geologists, and management through virtual communication channels.
• Contribute to regional geological studies and play fairway mapping.
• Mentor and guide junior geoscientists on seismic interpretation techniques.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for exploration committees.
• Champion best practices in data quality control and interpretation methodologies.

• Master's degree or PhD in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in seismic interpretation within the oil and gas industry.
• Demonstrated expertise with industry-standard seismic interpretation software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom).
• Strong understanding of seismic attributes, velocity modeling, and migration techniques.
• Experience in prospect evaluation and risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience with offshore exploration projects is highly desirable.
