Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time hybrid role for a Security Officer located in Baker City, OR, with some work from home flexibility. The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling and monitoring properties, responding promptly to alarms or incidents, maintaining security logs, and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and property. Additionally, the Security Officer will collaborate with on‑site and remote teams to implement preventative measures and provide emergency response coordination as needed.
Qualifications- Knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures
- Strong observational skills, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in conflict resolution, communication, and teamwork
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Valid security license or certification, or ability to obtain one
- Basic computer literacy for logging reports and utilizing security systems
- Previous experience in a security, law enforcement, or military role is an advantage
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training in security or public safety is a plus
