Pay Rate: $24 per hour

This position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our client by actively monitoring the premises, patrolling locations, enforcing regulations, and providing customer service to employees and visitors.

• Continuous Monitoring:
  Maintain uninterrupted observation of assigned patients to ensure a safe environment.
• Access Control:
  Regulate access to patient care areas, screening visitors and their belongings for potential hazards.
• Safety Assurance:
  Remove potentially harmful objects and maintain a secure setting for patients under extended care.
• Behavior Monitoring:
  Stay alert to patient behaviors, especially during low‑activity periods.
• Staff Protection:
  Support and protect medical staff when a patient poses a risk to themselves or others.
• Compliance:
  Adhere to company and client policies, reporting any changes or incidents immediately.

  Notify clinical staff and Hospital Management of behavioral escalations; assist with patient restraints only as a last resort.
• Customer Service:
  Provide courteous, respectful interactions with employees, patients, and visitors.
• Monitoring & Patrols:
  Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to identify hazards, violations, or unauthorized individuals.
• Incident Response:
  Protect evidence, secure emergency scenes, and respond to fire, medical, hazardous materials, or weather incidents.
• Reporting:
  Prepare logs, reports, and documentation using clear grammar and professional standards.
• Safety Enforcement:
  Ensure removal of property complies with client policies; direct disturbers to leave premises.
• Additional Duties:
  Perform other security‑related tasks as required by site needs.

• Excellent observational and de‑escalation skills; remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communicator; able to collaborate with clinical and security teams.
• Committed to ethical practices and safety protocols, maintaining a respectful approach.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• COVID‑19 vaccination required for client site.
• 1+ year of security, military, or law‑enforcement experience preferred.
• 1+ year in a healthcare or high‑paced setting preferred.
