Ethos Risk Services is expanding our industry-leading, fully paid Investigator Training Program. This program is designed to train you to investigate fraud and conduct covert surveillance in real-world scenarios, with a pathway to launch your career as an Associate Field Surveillance Investigator.

What does an Associate Field Surveillance Investigator do?

As an Associate Investigator at Ethos Risk Services, you will conduct covert surveillance (primarily from a vehicle), review files, communicate with Operations Managers, and draft detailed case reports. You will find, monitor, track, and capture video evidence of surveillance targets. Investigations commonly begin early in the morning and may require reporting to surveillance locations before sunrise. Flexibility is needed, with candidates who can work most weekends and holidays given hiring priority.

Our Entry-Level Investigator Training Program lasts 2-3 months and combines on-the-job and virtual classroom training to prepare you to work as a private investigator and conduct covert surveillance. As a trainee, Ethos Risk will provide:

• Surveillance equipment (video cameras)
• Guidance and support to obtain your private investigator license (licensing fees paid)
• A regular day off each week between Monday and Thursday after initial training
• Pay increases as you reach training milestones

To qualify for the training program, candidates must possess:

• A valid driver’s license
• A well-maintained / reliable vehicle (preferably with tinted windows)
• Adaptability, strong attention to detail, and patience, as most surveillance cases require 4-8 hour shifts from a vehicle
• Willingness to commute up to 2 hours from home to reach assigned surveillance locations (mileage reimbursed)
