Responsibilities
  • Manage overall security program.
  • Professional growth of staff, staff performance reviews and salary adjustments.
  • Provide guidance, subject‑matter expertise and mentorship to security personnel.
  • Standardize security processes across the company.
  • Write and enforce security policy.
  • Regularly interface with CEO and other executives.
  • Plan, examine, analyze, evaluate, and supervise physical security assets at all corporate locations, including remote sites (OCONUS).
  • Manage security budget.
  • Analyze staffing requirements.
  • Primary interface with DSS and other agencies.
  • Assist in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning.
  • Perform, arrange and supervise executive protection.
  • Work with internal IT department/CIO to ensure network security is compliant with government policy and regulation.
  • Provide CEO weekly status report.
  • Active engagement in industry committees (NCMS, ASIS, etc.).
  • Direct interface with HR, Legal and Compliance leads to standardize internal processes concerning onboarding, contract management and terminations.
  • Plan, initiate and manage actions with government accrediting authorities for facility approval.
Oversight – Team performing the following
  • Initiate, review, and process personnel security clearances and periodic reinvestigations.
  • Submit requests and maintain accounts for processing SCI clearances.
  • Prepare visit authorization requests (VARs).
  • JPAS administrative functions including submit visits, incident reports, in‑process, indoctrinate, debrief, out‑process employees, submitted RRU's, and generate reports.
  • Perform badging functions for remote offices and job sites.
  • Communicate clearance status updates to project leaders and employees.
  • Deliver security briefings and debriefings.
  • Manage document‑control database for all classified material per NISPOM and contractual requirements.
  • Review employee background screening results and provide pass/fail determinations.
  • Maintain access‑control system, employee/visitor badges and access‑control cards.
  • Develop electronic security system standards.
  • Deploy and maintain electronic security systems at all corporate facilities and remote offices.
  • Develop and maintain badging standards with monthly compliance reports.
  • Develop and manage visitor‑management system.
  • Implement electronic and physical security at project sites with project teams.
  • Manage HQ receptionist desk and mail.
  • Manage FSO and CSSO personnel.
  • Maintain facility clearance records.
  • Ensure compliance with all DoD and IC security‑related policies and procedures.
  • Interpret, implement and ensure compliance with NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and related guidance manuals.
  • Work with Program Execution and Business Development teams as needed.
  • Review government and commercial proposals for security requirements.
  • Track classified contract and sub‑contract activities ensuring compliance with DD254s.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security education program.
  • Oversee classified storage, inventories, safe access, document control, marking requirements, end‑of‑day procedures, and couriering.
