Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position is $82,600 - $112,100. This is a general guideline only.
Position Location: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio

About the RoleThe Administrative and Data Management Assistant will function as an administrator and data manager in the field of risk analysis to support AFRL and the Risk Identification and Security Countermeasure (RISC) mission. RISC is a security-focused cross-functional capability that consolidates information from multiple sources to identify potential risks associated with AFRL's intellectual property, programs, and personnel. RISC supports science and technology managers and engineers, and empowers AFRL leaders to make informed risk-management decisions.
Responsibilities- Control and maintain critical records produced during security reviews and provide administrative and technical support.
- Assist with the analysis and production of written and oral reports identifying risk and briefing AFRL, USAF, and DoD entities.
- Sign a non-disclosure statement and attestation statement in accordance with current personnel security requirements.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the RISC organization through a wide range of functions using professional and technical skills.
- Collate data and draw possible risk analyst conclusions based on current threats to technology and resources.
- Assist senior analysts in analyzing and evaluating the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the organization’s functions and programs.
- Input and maintain data and records of security reviews and suspense actions through automated systems to ensure data is processed within designated time frames and maintained in accordance with appropriate laws, regulations, and policies.
- Collect, verify, compute, consolidate, and review a variety of technical and statistical data to prepare reports and briefings.
- Identify and describe trends and/or problems, possible causes or explanations, make recommendations, and refer to higher-level analysts for in-depth study.
- Handle, store, and disseminate classified data in accordance with established DoD procedures.
- Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Five (5) years of experience with the analysis and production of written and oral reports identifying risk and briefing senior AFRL, USAF, and DoD entities.
- College degree preferred.
- Effective communication with customers and fulfillment of all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Top Secret/SCI Clearance
