As an Associate Investigator at Ethos Risk Services, you will conduct covert surveillance (primarily from your vehicle), review files, communicate with our team of Operations Managers, and draft detailed case reports. Your daily job is to find, monitor, track, and capture video evidence of surveillance targets. Most investigations begin at 6 AM and may require you to leave your home between 4–5 AM to be at the surveillance location before sunrise.

Investigators must maintain a flexible work schedule; candidates who are willing to work most weekends and holidays will be prioritized.

Our Entry‑Level Investigator Training Program includes 2–3 months of on‑the‑job and virtual classroom training that teaches everything needed to work as a private investigator and conduct covert surveillance. As a trainee, Ethos Risk will provide:

• Surveillance equipment (video cameras)
• Guidance and support to obtain your private investigator license (we pay your licensing fees)
• A consistent day off each week between Monday and Thursday, based on your personal preferences (after initial training)
• Pay increases as you reach certain milestones in your training

To qualify for the training program candidates must possess:

• A valid driver’s license
• A well‑maintained / reliable vehicle (preferably with tinted windows)
• A high level of adaptability, strong attention to detail, and a high degree of patience, as most surveillance cases require 4–8 hour shifts from your vehicle
• A willingness to commute up to 2 hours from home to reach the surveillance location (mileage is reimbursed)

Candidates who are self‑motivated, resourceful, and able to maintain a high degree of professionalism in various situations will thrive in this position.
