Summary:HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support physical, construction, and personnel security for the 14th Weapons Squadron, located at Hurlburt Field, Florida. This role involves working across multiple security levels, up to and including TS/SCI and TS/SAR.
What You Will Do:- Manages Commander's PERSEC/Physical/Industrial SAP security program IAW ACC guidance and regulations. Program includes collateral and SCI management/reference when applicable for Program Access Requests (PARs), security oversight of personnel, and facility upgrades/renovations.
- Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
- Understands federal regulations including DoDM 5202.07, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and the NISPOM.
- Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
- Develops and directs Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) programs. Delivers defensive briefings, insider threat training , and continues refreshers to cleared staff.
- Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
- Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
