I am a retired 25-year federal law enforcement and intelligence unit practitioner building Case Light (CSI). Case Light is an offline-first, secure Windows desktop application engineered to replace the chaotic, multi-app workflows used by 50,000+ independent private sector intelligence firms and rural police departments who are priced out of enterprise tech. By utilizing a local-first Tauri/Rust framework and an encrypted SQLite sandbox, Case Light automates forensic data layout and locks down an unalterable digital chain of custody, completely bypassing cloud-hosting liabilities, third-party subpoena exposure, and infrastructure overhead.

Core Architecture Requirements:
This is a low-level native systems role. We are explicitly filtering for senior developers with verified production experience in Tauri, Rust, SQLite/SQLCipher, and React.

• OS-Level Multi-Threading:
  Deep experience writing asynchronous background channels in Rust to process multi-gigabyte file payloads without blocking the UI main thread.
• Local Cryptography:
  Practical implementation of on-board SHA-256 hashing, metadata preservation, and runtime SQLCipher database encryption entirely on local client hardware.
• Memory Optimization:
  Expert understanding of the Rust borrow checker and native Windows execution constraints to ensure ultra-low RAM footprint sandboxing.

This isn't an un-fleshed-out idea project; I have it all mapped out in black and white.

Active Seed Pipeline:
Multiple applications are currently submitted and under review with regional angel networks and startup investors. We possess deep, active distribution roots across regional networks and secured 11 Letters of Intent from regional investigations firm principals within a brief 48-hour outreach loop.
