This position supports programs of the Corporate Safety & Security department across all enterprise locations. The core purpose of this position is to promote employee safety by mitigating risk through the implementation of the corporate support and protection program. The position is accountable for liaising with security vendors, event security teams, industry partners, local/state/federal law enforcement, and senior level executives to focus on ways to improve the security experience and operation of the department in a cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:- Provide protection for employees and executives and take decisive and immediate action in emergency situations.
- Enact the daily operation of the Corporate Safety and Security program while adhering to regulatory and insurance carrier requirements.
- Identify emerging threats and safety risks that drive program improvement updates.
- Assist in operational activities of the Corporate Safety and Security team.
- Develop security procedures related to Corporate Safety and Security by identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements and efficiencies, while improving customer service experience.
- Develop, implement, and present training curriculum on topics related to safety and security best practices, risks, and emerging trends
- Perform and maintain ongoing safety and security risk assessments to ensure programs are aligned with current business needs and exposures.
- Conduct investigations centered on threats against employees and determine appropriate risk mitigation processes and solutions to these concerns.
- Establish deep, productive, and trusted working relationships with employees and senior-level executives.
- Potential threat response performed in a professional, calm manner while deescalating tense situations.
- Enable cooperation and alignment across corporate safety & security functions, facilities function, and business resiliency.
- Collaborate with diplomatic officials of foreign governments, as well as U.S. Embassy, law enforcement agencies; federal agencies; public safety (fire/EMS); other city, county, and state agencies (health, building codes, transportation, parks & recreation); venue management/staff, and private security to coordinate operational requirements.
- Provide safe and secure vehicle transport for corporate related business during day or night, in all-weather environments.
- Provide first-aid and other life-saving measures as trained.
- Run, crouch, kneel, squat, bend, balance, crawl or climb occasionally.
- Walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time.
- Carrying/use authorized weapons and ammunition, protective gear and devices, and other authorized equipment items.
- Surveillance and risk monitoring of office locations, employee travelers, remote workers and elevate emerging risks as appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and present training curriculum on topics related to safety and security best practices, risks, and emerging trends.
- Conduct onsite threat assessments, prepare and execute primary and secondary security plans, and staff and deploy resources to mitigate perceived threats.
- Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five years’ experience in executive protection, corporate safety, security, and loss control with a private business, and/or law enforcement or military service with honorable discharge.
- Certified in CPR/AED/First aid.
- Regular tactical firearm training.
- First responder, TEMS, TCCC, EMT, or Paramedic training preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, local, and/or provincial occupational safety, health, and environmental protection standards and regulations and accepted security practices. Relevant industry certification(s) are preferred such as a Physical Security Professional “PSP,” or a Certified Protection Professional “CPP.”
- Extensive knowledge in security theories, techniques, and technologies, along with broad general security knowledge.
