TradesBC as an Apprenticeship Advisor in Lower Mainland, BC. This hybrid role focuses on supporting apprentices and sponsors while enhancing apprenticeship completion rates.

TradesBC is seeking one Apprenticeship Advisor to provide guidance to regional stakeholders. You will engage with industry and sponsors to identify and eliminate barriers that affect apprenticeship success. A strong emphasis on relationship building with the Indigenous community will be essential for driving inclusivity in training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet regionally with industry to identify apprenticeship barriers

• Support Indigenous individuals entering training opportunities

• Provide regional guidance through targeted outreach

• Assist apprentices navigating the apprenticeship pathway

• Offer policy input to improve apprenticeship resources

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education and/or trades certification

• 5 to 7 years of leadership experience

• Proven ability in multi-stakeholder environments

• Strong computer skills and remote working proficiency

• Ability to travel within designated region
