Continuous quality improvement (CQI) case reviewer

STATUS:
Full time (40 hours per week)

LOCATION:

Arkansas

Do you want to help make social service systems in Arkansas more effective for its residents and help them succeed?

Evident Change has an opening for up to two continuous quality improvement (CQI) case reviewers who will focus on evaluating child protection cases through Child and Family Services Reviews (CFSRs) for the state of Arkansas as well as other evaluation efforts. CQI case reviewers will work with local case reviewers to support timely and accurate completion of case review and CQI efforts related to child welfare service delivery and child and family outcomes in Arkansas.

What

will you do?

Get ready to:

  • Conduct in-depth case reviews (on site and remote) following CFSR guidelines. On-site reviews will occur across all Arkansas counties and will require travel about 25% of the time.
  • Learn how to use the federal Onsite Review Instrument and Instructions (OSRI) and the Online Monitoring System (OMS) while conducting case reviews.
  • Conduct interviews and/or focus groups or other qualitative data collection techniques/approaches.
  • Interpret child welfare systems data as needed.
  • Help create reports and presentations to communicate case review findings.
  • Present and facilitate discussions of data and case review findings and their implications.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with federal and state child welfare leaders across Arkansas and work collaboratively with local and remote colleagues as well as different teams across Evident Change.
Our Compensation and Benefit Offerings

The national average compensation for this position ranges between $28.97 and $30.76 per hour (annualized as $60,250 and $64,000 per year). Compensation within this range is dependent on experience, parity with peers, and where an employee lives.

Applicants who meet these essential qualifications will be considered a candidate for this role

  • Experience conducting case reviews
  • Experience working on the front line of child welfare
  • Experience supporting complex projects and cross‑team collaboration to meet project goals
  • Experience working with Arkansas child welfare services
  • Familiarity with child‑ and family‑serving community‑based organizations
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and coordinate well with others
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, including the ability to translate information into actionable insights for a wide variety of audiences

Additional assets a candidate may possess include the following.

  • Experience conducting CSFRs using OSRI and OMS
  • Understanding/experience related to intensive in‑home services as part of the child welfare continuum
  • Experience collecting primary data (such as conducting participant observation, interviews, and focus groups)
  • Experience with child welfare data analysis
  • Experience with research and evaluation ethics and data security
  • Experience with the Structured Decision Making® system, Team Decision Making® meetings and Safety‑Organized Practice, including appreciative inquiry, building safety networks, and solution‑focused practice
